The fund's strengths at a glance

Attractive return with controlled risk

Through targeted selection of subordinated bonds, we generate above-average returns, without unnecessarily increasing risk in relation to return.

Solid issuers with regulatory strength

Investments are made primarily in banks and insurance companies, which are particularly stable and transparent thanks to Basel III and Solvency II.

Invest sustainably with responsibility

The fund meets the criteria of an Article 8 fund in accordance with SFDR and follows the UNPRI Principles for Responsible Investment.

This is how the nordIX Renten plus works

investment strategy

nordIX Renten plus is an actively managed investment approach in the area of fixed-income securities. The focus is on bonds from banks and insurance companies, in particular subordinated issues, which offer a significantly more attractive interest rate level compared to conventional senior bonds — with manageable additional risk.

Why subordinated bonds?

Subordinated bonds offer an attractive risk/reward ratio — particularly for issuers with a high level of regulatory control. The combination of higher interest rates and stabilizing measures such as Basel III (for banks) and Solvency II (for insurance companies) makes these titles particularly interesting: They are considered to be more crisis-resistant, more transparent and benefit from structural advantages on the market.

Diversification & risk management

The portfolio is broadly spread across numerous individual stocks in order to cushion possible price fluctuations. By specifically allocating different issuers, maturities and rankings, the risk structure can be effectively managed. Even in volatile market phases, the fund therefore remains stable — with a targeted medium-term target return of over 3%.

Sustainability & Responsibility

All investments take into account the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI). In addition, the fund is classified as an Article 8 fund under the EU Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) — and therefore meets recognized ESG criteria in terms of environmental, social and good corporate governance.
